* [ARM] 4508/1: S3C: Move items to include/asm-arm/plat-s3cBen Dooks2007-07-221-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch moves items of the s3c24xx support into a new plat-s3c directory for items that use the s3c24xx support but are not directly s3c24xx compatible, such as the s3c2400 and s3c6400. git mv commands: git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/iic.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/iic.h git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/nand.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/nand.h git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/regs-iic.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/regs-iic.h git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/regs-nand.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/regs-nand.h git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/regs-rtc.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/regs-rtc.h git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/regs-serial.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/regs-serial.h git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/regs-timer.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/regs-timer.h git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/regs-watchdog.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/regs-watchdog.h Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [ARM] 4325/1: S3C24XX: remove s3c24xx_boardBen Dooks2007-04-211-7/+5
| | | | | | | | | | Remove the use of struct s3c24xx_board as this is just as easily done by using the platform device registration functions to make the initialisation sequence easier. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [ARM] 4324/1: S3C24XX: remove clocks from s3c24xx_boardBen Dooks2007-04-211-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | Remove the clocks from the s3c24xx_board as part of the process of simplifying the initialisation sequence by removing struct s3c24xx_board. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [ARM] 4157/2: S3C24XX: move arch/arch/mach-s3c2410 into cpu componentsBen Dooks2007-02-111-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | The following patch and script moves the arch/arm/mach-s3c2410 directory into arch/arm/plat-s3c24xx for the generic core code and inti arch/arm/mach-s3c{cpu} for the cpu/machine support files Include directory include/asm-arm/plat-s3c24xx is added for the core include files. * [ARM] 4059/1: VR1000: fix LED3's platform device numberBen Dooks2006-12-191-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | LED 3 should have been registered with the platform deviceid of 3, instead of 1 (which was used for LED 1). Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [ARM] 3998/1: VR1000: LED platform devicesBen Dooks2006-12-071-1/+49
| | | | | | | Support for the GPIO attached LEDs on the VR1000 Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [ARM] 3767/1: S3C24XX: remove changelog comments from arch/arm/mach-s3c2410Ben Dooks2006-09-061-19/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | Patch from Ben Dooks Remove the pointless changelog comments from arch/arm/mach-s3c2410 files, as all this can be found from the revision control system. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [ARM] 3557/1: S3C24XX: centralise and cleanup uart registrationBen Dooks2006-06-181-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Patch from Ben Dooks All the S3C24XX based devices currently have similar uart blocks, in the same location. Make the process of adding new uart blocks easier by commonising the device definitions and adding a new init function for the cpu code. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [ARM] 3260/1: remove phys_ram from struct machine_desc (part 2)Nicolas Pitre2006-01-131-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | Patch from Nicolas Pitre This field is redundent since it must be equal to PHYS_OFFSET anyway. Now that no code uses it anymore, mark it deprecated and remove all initializations from the tree. Signed-off-by: Nicolas Pitre <nico@cam.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [ARM] 3125/2: VR1000: Fix map_decs initialiserBen Dooks2005-11-081-18/+38
| | | | | | | | | | | Patch from Ben Dooks Fix the initialisation of the map_desc fields in the Thorcom VR1000 machine support to use the new .pfn initialiser. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

* [SERIAL] Use an enum for serial8250 platform device IDsRussell King2005-09-081-1/+1
| | | | | | | | Rather than hard-coding the platform device IDs, enumerate them. We don't particularly care about the actual ID we get, just as long as they're unique. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [PATCH] ARM: Remove machine description macrosRussell King2005-07-031-3/+5
| | | | | | | Remove the pointless machine description macros, favouring C99 initialisers instead. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
