Use ws_gtk_grid...() instead of gtk_table...();
Fix a minor difference in window handling between Gtk2 & Gtk3:
Use gtk_box_pack_start() instead of gtk_container_add() in one case.
Also; Do some whitespace and formatting style cleanup.
